  • >5-panel urine drug screen is standard for DOT urine drug screens. They test for the presence of the following five common drugs or drug classes:
    • 1.Marijuana (THC) – The active compound in cannabis.
    • 2.Cocaine – A stimulant drug derived from the coca plant.
    • 3.Opiates – Includes substances like heroin, morphine, and codeine.
    • 4.Amphetamines – Stimulants that include methamphetamine and ecstasy.
    • 5.Phencyclidine (PCP) – A hallucinogen and dissociative drug.

Employers may request additional drugs for screening. We can make you aware once we see your drug screen form.

For personal drug screens, if you would like additional drug substances to be tested, you may request the specific drug so onsite during your drug screen.

If you are taking prescription medications that might show up on a urine drug test, it's important to inform the testing facility in advance. A doctor's note will be required to explain the legitimate use of the medication. This is NOT done with us at the collection site but rather the lab who analyzes your specimen will contact you requesting this confirmation

•The urine sample is collected in a private restroom at our facility with no observation. You will be given a special cup for the specimen to go in and the specimen must be provided in 4 minutes, and it must be a certain temperature. Personal drug screen request has no security measures for the urine sample.

•For employer and DOT urine drug screens, if you are unable to provide the urine specimen on the first try, you will receive up to three hours from check in to provide the specimen. If the specimen is NOT provided with in the 3 hours provided, you will be reported to the employer as “REFUSED” to provide a specimen. The employer will deal with next steps.

•For DOT urine drug screens, it is also important to know that if you do NOT provide the required amount of urine or the specimen looks suspicious, you will be required to provide a second urine specimen under direct observation of a same sex staff member when providing the second specimen.
